Fareston Usage: this drug is used to treat certain types of breast cancer.
How to use Fareston: Use exactly as directed by mouth, usually one tablet once daily. Treatment is generally continued as long as your condition improves or remains same.
Fareston side effects: Hot flashes, sweating, nausea, vaginal discharge, dry eyes or dizziness may occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Report promptly: vision problems. Unlikely but report promptly: chest pain, irregular heartbeat, difficulty breathing, vomiting, fatigue, ankle or leg swelling or pain, mood/mental changes, muscle weakness, constipation, bone or stomach pain, rash, yellowing of the eyes or skin, vaginal bleeding. Very unlikely but report promptly: one-sided weakness, speech problems, fainting, persistent sore throat, fever, simple bruising or bleeding. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.
Fareston Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your doctor some your medical history, including: allergies (especially drug allergies), bone cancer, blood vessel problems, blood disorders, liver disease, uterine/womb problems such as endometrial hyperplasia. Limit alcohol intake, as it may enhance certain side effects. since it drug may cause dizziness or fatigue, use caution if operating machinery or performing hazardous tasks. Contact lens wearers may develop some eye dryness. this drug is not indicated for use in children. this drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before using this drug. it is not known whether this medication is excreted into breast milk. Because of the potential risk to infant, breast-feeding while using this med isn't recommended. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Fareston drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of every nonprescription & prescription drug you use, especially of: certain diuretics ('water pills' such as hydrochlorothiazide), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), certain anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin). do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.
Fareston Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, headache, nausea, loss of coordination, and hallucinations.
Fareston special notes: do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Fareston dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If this is near the time of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Fareston Storage: Store at room temperature no higher then 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
