Benzoyl peroxide - topical

Benzashave Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
How to use Benzashave: this drug is for topical use on the affected area only. Avoid using this in the eyes, mouth and nose, & on inflamed or damaged skin. liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap once or twice a day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up a lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub skin. Creams, lotions or gels are usually applied one time or 2 times day to affected region. small amount is applied to affected region and rubbed in gently. Pads: Wash the affected area of skin with mild cleanser & water then dry it. following apply pad, usually once or twice a day to skin as directed.
Benzashave side effects: Slight stinging, dryness & peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify you're pharmacist if following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Benzashave Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this medication may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use of benzoyl peroxide in child under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though theyre have no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Benzashave drug interactions: Tell you're physician of all medicines you may use, both prescription and nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Benzashave Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Benzashave special notes: this medication is available in many forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser and in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). few canbe purchased without a prescription. Discuss various products with you're doctor or healthcare professional to determine the best one for you.
If you missed Benzashave dose: Use the missed dose as soon as you remember & resume you're regular dosing schedule.
Benzashave Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 & 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight.
