Emcyt Usage: this is an anticancer medication used to treat prostate cancer.
How to use Emcyt: this drug is taken by mouth as directed. this is best taken with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) about water one hour before or two hours after meals unless your physician directs you otherwise. do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking it medication. Avoid intake of milk, dairy goods and calcium-rich foods or medications concurrently with this pill. absorption of the drug will be affected. Make sure you understand your dosing schedule & follow this closely. do not take this drug more much times or skip any doses unless directed to do so by your doctor.
Emcyt side effects: it medication may cause nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, gas, flushing, dry skin, headache, thinning hair, breast enlargement, irritated throat or hoarseness. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: dark stools, stomach pains, simple bruising or bleeding, breathing difficulty, chest pain, skin rash, itching, weakness, swelling about the ankles or feet, yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Emcyt Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional if you have: blood disorders, diabetes, HBP, liver disease, kidney disease, bone disease, allergies (especially drug allergies). Birth control measures are recommended during therapy because this med may cause fetal harm. Discuss with your healthcare professional risks related to pregnancy.
Emcyt medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you use, including: calcium supplements & calcium-based antacids (including dairy products as well). don't start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Emcyt Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Emcyt special notes: Laboratory tests will be done periodically to be sure med is working properly and to monitor for possible side effects.
If you missed Emcyt dose: Try to take each dose at scheduled time. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Emcyt Storage: Store at refrigerator. Capsules may be left at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) for 24 to 48 hours if necessary.
Medical alert: youre condition may cause complications at a medical emergency.
