    Female, Age : 31-40 years old , Reason : Sjogren's Syndrome.
Side Effects : possibly hyperpigmentation on face
Review : I have been taking Plaquenil for 7 years. I feel so much better taking this medication. I had pretty severe parotid gland swelling prior to taking plaquenil, it is almost non-existent now. Dryness is mouth and eyes is moderate now and I no longer need to use any medications or products to help with dryness because of how mild it is. I took plaquenil through my pregnancy and breastfeeding my son with no side effects. I have hyperpigmentation on my face, which could have been caused by birth control pills or plaquenil, not really sure. If it is causing it, I would still take it because of how much it helps. So glad this medication is available.
