Stelazine Usage: this drug is used for mental/emotional conditions.

How to use Stelazine: this drug is injected into muscle (IM) or under skin (SQ). this medication must be used as prescribed. do not stop using this drug suddenly with out consulting your doctor. some conditions may worsen if drug is suddenly stopped. it may take up to two weeks for full benefit of this drug to take effect.

Stelazine side effects: Constipation, drowsiness, vision changes or dry mouth may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify you're pharmacist. Unlikely to occur but report promptly: restlessness, muscle stiffness, weakness, difficulty speaking, loss about balance, mask- like facial expression, trembling or shaking, dizziness, lip smacking or other uncontrollable movements, difficulty urinating, skin rash/discoloration. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly: sore throat, unusual bleeding or bruising, stomach pain, yellowing of eyes or skin, dark urine, hot dry skin, vomiting. Though very unlikely to occur, notify youre doctor immediately if you experience any about following effects: severe muscle stiffness, confusion, fever, seizures, irregular/fast heartbeat, increased sweating, prolonged/painful erection. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact some your physician or healthcare professional.

Stelazine Precautions: Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially of: very high or very LBP, liver or heart disease, Reye's syndrome, alcohol or med dependencies, nervous system problems, blood disorders, allergies (especially drug allergies). Use caution performing tasks that require alertness such as driving or using machinery. Use of alcohol can cause extreme drowsiness. Avoid alcohol use. it med may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Avoid prolonged sun exposure & wear a sunscreen and protective clothing when you are exposed to the sun. it medication can reduce sweating making you more susceptible to heat stroke. Avoid strenuous work or exercise at hot weather. this tablet is not intended for use in kid under 12 years of age. it drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult your physician before using this drug. Certain drugs closely related to this one (phenothiazines) are excreted into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Stelazine drug interactions: Inform your doctor of all the medications you use (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: other anti-depressant/anti-anxiety drugs, sparfloxacin, grepafloxacin, guanethidine, guanadrel, metrizamide, cabergoline, lithium, narcotic pain med (e.g., codeine), drugs used to aid sleep, drowsiness-causing antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), other drugs that make you drowsy. many cough-and-cold products contain ingredients that may add a drowsiness effect. Before using cough-and-cold pills, ask your physician or pharmacist about the safe use of those products. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or physician approval.

Stelazine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include, restlessness, confusion, excitement, weakness, fatigue, fainting, dizziness, rapid or irregular heartbeat, small pupil size, tremors, difficulty at swallowing or breathing, excessive drowsiness, very low body temperature, or seizures.

Stelazine special notes: this is important you be monitored. Keep all physician appointments. do not share this drug with others.

If you missed Stelazine dose: If you miss a dose & use 1 dose daily: use as soon as remembered unless Its almost time for following dose. in that case, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual schedule. If you use more then 1 dose daily: use as soon as possible if Its within an hour or so about missed dose. If not remembered within an hour, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Stelazine Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture. do not store in the bathroom. do not freeze.

Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
