Hycort Usage: this med is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.

How to use Hycort: Clean & dry affected area before applying medication. To apply, gently massage a very small amount bit of tablet into affected area & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you instructed to do so by your pharmacist. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this drug in the diaper area. Avoid using this drug around the eyes unless directed to do so by your healthcare professional.

Hycort side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1-st applied to the skin. this should disappear in few days as youre body adjusts to drug. this pill may also cause skin thinning and discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Skin infections can become worse when using it drug. Notify some your doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Hycort Precautions: don't use this medication near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible it medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & for those who have used it since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies since up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult you're doctor or healthcare professional for more following info. it drug should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits and risks with you're physician. Small amounts of this drug may appear in breast milk. Consult with your doctor before breast-feeding.

Hycort drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every drugs you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Hycort Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Hycort special notes: Inform all you're healthcare professionals you use (or have used) this drug. don't share this drug with others.

If you missed Hycort dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Hycort Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
