Tessalon Usage: this med dulls cough reflex. It's used to relieve cough due to colds or allergies. Its effects last since up to eight hours.

How to use Tessalon: this tablet must be swallowed whole. do not break or chew the capsules or allow them to dissolve in you're mouth since the drug can numb mouth & throat. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve cold symptoms.

Tessalon side effects: Stomach upset, nausea, constipation, drowsiness, mild dizziness, nasal congestion or headache may occur first some days as youre body adjusts to med. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify some your physician if you develop: skin rash, numbness of chest, tremors. Because it tablet can cause drowsiness or dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.

Tessalon Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have any allergies or illness. this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. for It's not known if this drug is found in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Tessalon Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include restlessness, tremors, and seizures.

If you missed Tessalon dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Tessalon Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not refrigerate.
