Denavir Usage: this med is used since reoccurring herpes (cold sores or fever blisters) in adults.
How to use Denavir: Use as directed, applying thin layer to affected area. Use at the 1st sign of tingling or swelling in the affected area.
Denavir side effects: at the site of application, mild redness, irritation, rash, or mild numbness may occur. If these continue or bothersome, notify you're healthcare professional. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or pharmacist.
Denavir Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your pharmacist if you have: any allergies. this pill should only be used on sores of the lips and face. Avoid use at or near the eyes, as irritation may occur. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this med. it isn't known whether penciclovir is excreted into people milk after applying it to the skin. Before breast-feeding, discuss with your doctor.
Denavir drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of all nonprescription & prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Denavir Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Denavir special notes: this drug is not to be shared with others.
If you missed Denavir dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near time about the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Denavir Storage: Store at or below 86 degrees F (30 degrees C) away from sunlight and moisture. do not freeze.
