Female, Age : 51-60 years old , Reason : CHF.
Side Effects : panic attacks, insomia, blurred vision
Review : Coreg is the best on the market for the treatment of CHF. However, I personally did not have a good experience with Coreg. Aside from feeling just plain lousy, I had panic attacks, blurred vision, and insomnia. The plus side, Coreg (5 mg BID) kept me energized I could walk two to four miles with little or NO shortness of breath. Unfortunatally, for me the minuses out-weighted the pluses. Eventually, my cardiologist put me back on Metopolol and Norvasc, and ALL of these side effects disappeared INSTANTLY. This was five years ago, and I am doing excellent today.
