Diabetic Tussin Max Strength Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dextromethorphan is cough suppressant. this combination medication is used to treat a cough associated with the common cold, allergies & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Diabetic Tussin Max Strength: Take it med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. Capsules & long-acting tablets should be swallowed whole with full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. long action will be destroyed & chance about side effects will be increased.
Diabetic Tussin Max Strength side effects: Headache, dizziness, loss about appetite, nausea or vomiting may occur 1st few days as your body adjusts to the tablet. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop any of these effects while taking this drug: skin rash, trouble breathing. Use caution driving or operating machinery if it drug makes you feel dizzy. Diabetic Tussin Max Strength drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Diabetic Tussin Max Strength Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, blurred vision, slowed breathing, & seizures.
Diabetic Tussin Max Strength special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Diabetic Tussin Max Strength dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near the clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Diabetic Tussin Max Strength Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
