Rogaine Usage: it drug is used topically to promote hair growth in the treatment about male pattern baldness.
How to use Rogaine: Clean & dry the scalp area before applying the med. To apply, gently rub approximately 20 drops of the drug to the desired area 2 times day. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Larger or more frequent doses will not speed up or increase chance of hair growth, but will increase chance of side effects. do not use this drug with any other topical scalp drugs.
Rogaine side effects: this pill can cause burning, stinging or redness when 1st applied to skin. this must disappear in a some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. If excessive amounts about it medication are absorbed through skin, headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, change in heart rate or blood pressure, chest pain, swelling of hands or feet, or fatigue may occur. look for these effects & inform your doctor if they occur. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Rogaine Precautions: do not apply minoxidil to sunburned or irritated scalp. Using drug more often, applying more about this than as directed, or applying this to an irritated or sunburned scalp can cause medication to be absorbed into your body and result in serious side effects. wome who pregnant or breast-feeding should inform their doctors. Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially of: heart problems, kidney problems, liver problems, other scalp conditions, allergies (especially med allergies).
Rogaine medication interactions: Before using minoxidil, tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medications you are taking, especially of: guanethidine, other drugs used for high blood pressure. don't start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.
Rogaine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Rogaine special notes: at first, hair growth will be soft, colorless & barely visible. With further treatment new hair should be the color & thickness of other scalp hair. Evidence of hair growth may take up to four months or longer. If it does not occur, contact you're healthcare professional about continuing therapy. If treatment is stopped, new hair will be shed within a few months. it drug is to be used topically only. Accidental ingestion can produce significant side effects. Keep it and all medications out of the reach about children. do not allow anyone else to use your minoxidil.
If you missed Rogaine dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Rogaine Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
