Docusoft S Usage: this drug helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. it is used to treat constipation.

How to use Docusoft S: Swallow capsules and tablets whole with a full glass of water or juice. liquid & syrup forms must be given in 6 to 8 ounces of milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained in 1 to 3 days after 1'st dose.

Docusoft S side effects: this drug can cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movements. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration & loss about essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using it medication. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Docusoft S Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by youre doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) with out obtaining you're doctor's advice.

Docusoft S drug interactions: this medication is not recommended for use with mineral oil. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more details. Tell your pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially aspirin.

Docusoft S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Docusoft S special notes: Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink four to 6 glasses about water daily, include bulk or roughage in you're diet, & exercise regularly.

If you missed Docusoft S dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost clock since the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Docusoft S Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
