    Persantine I V Usage: it medication is used in addition to other medications (thallium) to view the arteries of heart (myocardial imaging).

    How to use Persantine I V: Give this medication by vein (IV), over four minutes, or as directed by your pharmacist. Follow every directions for proper dilution with correct IV fluids. Follow all safety precautions for it medication. do not mix dipyridamole with other meds in same syringe or infusion container. Consult youre pharmacist for following information. Before using, dollars this drug visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, don't use liquid.

    Persantine I V side effects: Nausea, flushing, headache, fatigue & dizziness may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify some your doctor promptly. Tell youre doctor immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: chest pain, fast/slow/irregular pulse. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: one-sided weakness, slurred speech, confusion, seizures. An allergic reaction to it drug is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if this occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.

    Persantine I V Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: heart disease (e.g., severe coronary artery disease, angina), asthma, myasthenia gravis, any allergies. this tablet may make you dizzy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or operating machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using this pill. this tablet passes into breast milk. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Persantine I V medication interactions: Tell your doctor of every prescription and nonprescription drug you may use, especially: xanthine derivatives (e.g., aminophylline, theophylline), adenosine. Avoid drinking beverages containing caffeine (coffee, tea, colas) or eating large amounts about chocolate 24 hours before it heart imaging procedure. Caffeine can interfere with effects of this drug. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more information about dietary restrictions before this procedure. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Persantine I V Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Persantine I V special notes: Laboratory and/or medical tests (e.g., heart monitor, vital signs ) will be performed to monitor your progress.

    If you missed Persantine I V dose: If dose is interrupted, contact your physician or pharmacist immediately to establish new dosing.

    Persantine I V Storage: Store in room temperature (77 degrees F or 25 degree C) away from light & moisture. Brief storage between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) is permitted. don't freeze. Consult you're physician for following details regarding stability about the drug after dilution in correct IV fluids. Discard any unused fluid.
