Entocort Ec Usage: Budesonide is used to treat type of inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease).
How to use Entocort Ec: Take it med by mouth usually once daily in morning; or as directed by your doctor. dosage is based on youre medical condition and response to therapy. do not crush or chew this tablet. Swallow the drug whole. Use this tablet exactly as prescribed. do not increase your dose, take it more frequently, or use it for longer period of clock than prescribed because this may increase some your chance of serious side effects. do not stop taking it medication without consulting your healthcare professional. several conditions may become worse when the pill is abruptly stopped. your dose may need to be gradually decreased.
Entocort Ec side effects: Headache, nausea, dizziness, increased sweating, stomach upset, or may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist. Tell youre physician immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: trouble breathing, fever, pain (e.g., back, stomach/abdominal, or generalized pain). Tell some your pharmacist immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: chest pain, swelling of the tongue or face/legs/arms, vision problems, easy bruising, tingling or numbness of hands/feet, tremor, unusually fast heartbeat, trouble sleeping, mental/mood changes, rash, acne, urination problems (e.g., inability to urinate or increase in nighttime urination), changes in menstrual period, increased hair growth (body hair). Contact you're doctor if you experience any of the signs about low steroid levels: unusual weakness, weight loss, vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Entocort Ec Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist your medical history, especially of: liver problems, tuberculosis, HBP, diabetes, brittle bones (osteoporosis), stomach problems (e.g., peptic ulcer), personal or family history of eye problems (e.g., cataracts, glaucoma), any allergies (especially to another steroid medications like prednisone). Avoid contact with person currently infected with chicken pox or measles. Consult you're healthcare professional immediately if you think you have been exposed to chicken pox or measles virus. Serious infection or injury, emotional stress, or major surgery may increase your bodies need for steroids. Consult your pharmacist or pharmacist for details. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of drug. this drug must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Based on information for similar medications, budesonide may pass into breast milk. Therefore, consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Entocort Ec med interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially: azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole), cimetidine, protease inhibitors (e.g., indinavir, ritonavir), macrolide antibiotics (e.g., clarithromycin, erythromycin), rifampin, mifepristone. do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while using this medication unless your physician instructs you otherwise. this product may affect results of certain lab tests. Make sure laboratory personnel and your doctors know you use this tablet. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Entocort Ec Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: generalized swelling, unusual fatigue & sluggishness.
Entocort Ec special notes: don't share this med with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor your progress. Inform every youre doctors you use, or have used it medication.
If you missed Entocort Ec dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If it is near the clock of the following dose, skip missed dose and resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Entocort Ec Storage: Store at room temperature (77 degrees F or 25 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Brief storage between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) is permitted.
Medical alert: youre condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
