    Neurin 12 Usage: Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) is important to body for growth, cell production, blood & nerve function. It's given to treat low levels of B12 or at conditions where requirements may be increased such as in chronic illnesses.

    How to use Neurin 12: it drug is given by injection in to muscle or injected deeply under skin (deep subcutaneous injection). Initially it may be given all day. Maintenance doses usually given once month.

    Neurin 12 side effects: Mild diarrhea, itching, temporary feeling of warmth & pain at the injection site may occur. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you experience: breathing trouble, congestion, tightness in chest. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.

    Neurin 12 Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: eye diseases, infections, any allergies. preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in liquid used to mix this product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during the 1st months of life (neonatal period). risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, hypotension, or a very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to doctor immediately should they occur. If possible, preservative-free product must be used when treating neonates. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with youre physician. since small amounts of this drug found in breast milk, consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.

    Neurin 12 drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, especially of: vitamin goods, folic acid, cimetidine, potassium supplements, neomycin, colchicine. Limit intake of alcoholic beverages which can interfere with the absorption about this drug. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Neurin 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Neurin 12 special notes: Blood tests will be done to money your response to this drug. it is important to maintain well balanced diet to ensure adequate intake of every the vitamins & minerals.

    If you missed Neurin 12 dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Neurin 12 Storage: this med is to be stored in cool, dry area away from direct light. don't store in bathroom.
