Peridex Usage: it medication is a mouth rinse that kills bacteria. it is used to treat redness, swelling and bleeding about inflamed gums (gingivitis).

How to use Peridex: this tablet is best started after a thorough teeth cleaning by dentist or dental hygienist. it pill is used as an oral rinse usually in the morning and evening after brushing teeth. Measure out the proper dose as directed, than swish it around in mouth for 30 seconds or as directed. then spit out. don't swallow medication. do not rinse mouth, brush teeth or eat immediately after using this drug.

Peridex side effects: it med may cause staining about the teeth or tongue. the stains can be removed by your dentist. Changes in taste, mouth irritation or mouth sores may occur. If it medication is accidentally swallowed, stomach upset or nausea may occur. in unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to it med, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms may include trouble breathing, rash, itching, swelling, or severe dizziness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Peridex Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your caregiver your medical/dental history including: any drug allergies. Tell your caregiver if you pregnant before using this med. this is not known if it drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your caregiver before breast-feeding. this pill isn't recommended since use in children under 18 years of age.

Peridex medication interactions: Even though this medication is not meant to be swallowed & no interactions would be expected, tell your caregiver of every prescription and nonprescription meds you use. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

Peridex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slurred speech, sleepiness, & stumbling or staggering walk.

Peridex special notes: Dental checkups recommended every 6 months. do not share this medication with others.

If you missed Peridex dose: Use any missed dose as soon as possible but not if It's almost clock for next dose. If It's time for following dose, skip missed dose & resume youre regular schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.

Peridex Storage: Store at room temperature below 77 degrees F (below 25 degrees C). don't freeze.
