    Corticosteroids - topical

    Diprolene Af Usage: this drug is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies and other irritations.

    How to use Diprolene Af: Clean & dry affected region before applying medication. To apply, gently massage small amount of medication into affected area and surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover the area treated unless you instructed to do so by youre doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this drug in diaper area. Avoid using this medication around the eyes unless directed to do so by your doctor.

    Diprolene Af side effects: this medication may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1st applied to skin. it should disappear in few days as youre body adjusts to pill. this medication may also cause skin thinning and discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform you're physician. Skin infections can become worse when using this medication. Notify some your pharmacist if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Diprolene Af Precautions: do not use this med near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively is not recommended. don't use if their is an infection or sores present on the area to be treated. Though very unlikely, it is possible it drug will be absorbed into youre bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for children & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about this med. Consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits and risks with you're pharmacist. Small amounts about this pill may appear in breast milk. Consult with youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Diprolene Af medication interactions: Tell youre physician of every meds you may use, (both prescription and nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.

    Diprolene Af Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Diprolene Af special notes: Inform every some your doctors you use (or have used) this drug. do not share it med with others.

    If you missed Diprolene Af dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; don't use if it is almost time since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Diprolene Af Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

    Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
