Lotrimin Usage: this drug is used to treat fungal skin infections.

How to use Lotrimin: Clean & dry affected region before applying drug. To apply, gently massage a very small amount of the tablet to the affected region & surrounding skin. Continue to use medication as prescribed for full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear infection, causing this to return. Cover with a bandage only if instructed to do so by your healthcare professional. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after 4 weeks, consult your doctor. another medication may be necessary. do not apply this drug into eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

Lotrimin side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging or redness when 1st applied to skin. this should disappear in a several days as youre body adjusts to medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform you're doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Lotrimin Precautions: Tell your pharmacist youre medical history, especially of: another skin conditions, any allergies. Before using this drug, tell youre doctor if you pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Lotrimin medication interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other skin products. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.

Lotrimin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Lotrimin special notes: this med is prescribed for some your current condition only. do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require different medicine.

If you missed Lotrimin dose: If you miss a dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Lotrimin Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. do not store in the bathroom. Keep out about the reach about children.
