Lac Hydrin Usage: this med is used to treat dry, itchy, or scaly skin conditions (e.g., xerosis, ichthyosis). it works by increasing the skin's natural moisture.

How to use Lac Hydrin: Apply thin layer of medication to the affected area of skin usually twice per day; or as directed by youre healthcare professional. Rub medication thoroughly into the skin. Avoid getting any of it medication in contact with you're eyes, lips, inside nose, or on open wounds. Using this medication on your face, recently shaved legs, or cracked skin can cause irritation. Consult your pharmacist.

Lac Hydrin side effects: Burning, stinging, & dryness of the skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tell your physician immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: darkening about skin color, skin peeling, redness, swelling, small red dots on the skin, worsening of you're current skin condition. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.

Lac Hydrin Precautions: Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially about: sores or wounds on the skin, allergies you may have. it medication may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid sun exposure, use sunscreen, & wear protective clothing on the areas of skin treated with this medication. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. this isn't known whether it drug passes in to breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Lac Hydrin pill interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription pill you may use, especially of: other medicated skin products. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Lac Hydrin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contract some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Lac Hydrin special notes: do not share this medication with others.

If you missed Lac Hydrin dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time of next dose, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Lac Hydrin Storage: Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C).
