Loprox Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.
How to use Loprox: Clean & dry the affected region before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a little bit of medication to affected area & surrounding skin. Continue to use medication as prescribed for full clock prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing it to return. Cover with bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. it may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult your doctor. another medication may be necessary. do not apply it medication in to the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.
Loprox side effects: this pill may cause burning, stinging or redness when 1st applied to skin. this should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.
Loprox Precautions: Tell youre doctor your medical history, especially about: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using this medication, tell some your doctor if you pregnant or are planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
Loprox drug interactions: Tell you're healthcare professional of all prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially of: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Loprox Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Loprox special notes: this medication is prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it for another infection or share it with someone else. another infection later on may require a different medicine.
If you missed Loprox dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered and resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Loprox Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. do not store in bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
