Ssd Af Usage: this medication is used to prevent and treat skin infections associated with burns.

How to use Ssd Af: it drug is for topical use only. Clean and dry the affected area before applying the pill. Using sterile glove, apply a thin video (1/16 inch) of the drug to the affected area and surrounding skin once or 2 times daily. Continue to use the med as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Keep affected area covered with the med at all times. do not cover with bandages unless instructed to do so by your pharmacist.

Ssd Af side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician. in the unlikely series you have an allergic reaction to it drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.

Ssd Af Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist you're medical history, especially: liver or kidney disease, blood disorders, any allergies. do not apply this med to infants less than two months of age. Before you use silver sulfadiazine, tell your healthcare professional if you are pregnant. it drug should not be used near or in term. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. However, similar, systemically absorbed forms about this drug excreted in to breast milk and have been shown to have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Consult youre doctor before breast- feeding.

Ssd Af drug interactions: Tell you're doctor of every prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially about other skin products.

Ssd Af Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ssd Af special notes: do not allow anyone else to use this medication.

If you missed Ssd Af dose: Apply any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost time for the next dose. If It's time for following dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

Ssd Af Storage: Store at room temperature & at a tight container. do not freeze.
