Ssd Usage: this medication is used to prevent & treat skin infections associated with burns.

How to use Ssd: it drug is for topical use only. Clean & dry affected area before applying drug. Using sterile glove, apply thin clip (1/16 inch) of the tablet to affected area & surrounding skin once or twice daily. Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Keep the affected area covered with the drug at all times. do not cover with bandages unless instructed to do so by some your physician.

Ssd side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. If any about these effects persist or worsen, inform some your pharmacist. at the unlikely chapter you have an allergic reaction to this pill, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre physician or pharmacist.

Ssd Precautions: Tell youre healthcare professional your medical history, especially: liver or kidney disease, blood disorders, any allergies. do not apply this medication to infants less than 2 months of age. Before you use silver sulfadiazine, tell your doctor if you are pregnant. it drug must not be used near or at term. it isnot known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. However, similar, systemically absorbed forms about this pill are excreted into breast milk and have been shown to have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast- feeding.

Ssd drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of other skin products.

Ssd Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Ssd special notes: do not allow anyone else to use this medication.

If you missed Ssd dose: Apply any missed dose as soon as possible but not if this is almost time for the following dose. If it is time for next dose, skip missed dose and resume you're regular schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

Ssd Storage: Store in room temperature and in tight container. do not freeze.
