Monistat Derm Usage: this medication is used to treat fungal skin infections.

How to use Monistat Derm: Clean & dry affected area before applying drug. To apply, gently massage a very small amount of medication to affected area and surrounding skin. Continue to use the tablet as prescribed for full clock prescribed. Stopping therapy too early may not clear the infection, causing this to return. Cover with bandage only if instructed to do so by your doctor. this may take one week before any improvement is seen. If no improvement is seen after four weeks, consult you're doctor. another medication may be necessary. don't apply this medication into the eyes, nose or mouth; use carefully when applying close to these areas.

Monistat Derm side effects: it drug can cause burning, stinging or redness when 1-st applied to the skin. this should disappear in a several days as youre body adjusts to the med. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your physician promptly. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.

Monistat Derm Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional you're medical history, especially about: other skin conditions, any allergies. Before using it drug, tell you're physician if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

Monistat Derm drug interactions: Tell your doctor about every prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: other skin products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Monistat Derm Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Monistat Derm special notes: this medication is prescribed for your current condition only. do not use it for another infection or share this with someone else. another infection later on may require a different medicine.

If you missed Monistat Derm dose: If you miss dose, apply as soon as remembered & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Monistat Derm Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. Avoid freezing. Keep powdered form from getting wet. do not store at bathroom. Keep out of the reach of children.
