Selsun RX Usage: it med is used to treat dandruff; certain scalp infection (seborrheic dermatitis); & for a condition that discolors the skin (tinea versicolor).

How to use Selsun RX: it medication is for topical use only. Avoid getting this near the eyes. If this does get at eyes, rinse them thoroughly with clear water. do not use this medication on cut or irritated skin. for use at dandruff or scalp dermatitis, wash hair 1-st with regular shampoo. Shake lotion well. Massage lotion into wet scalp & allow it to remain for two to 3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and repeat. Begin with 2 applications per week, than reduce to weekly or every other week applications to maintain control. for skin infections, apply lotion to affected area. Lather with small amount of water. Allow to remain on skin for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat once day for 7 days. don't let selenium sulfide touch inflamed, raw skin. Rinse genital areas & skin folds thoroughly after contact with selenium sulfide. do not leave selenium sulfide on youre hair, scalp, or skin for long periods (e.g., overnight) because It's irritating. Rinse off every of lotion.

Selsun RX side effects: it medication may cause skin irritation, dry skin, or hair loss. If any of these effects persist or worsen, discontinue use & consult some your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Selsun RX Precautions: do not use this medication without first contacting youre doctor if you have the following conditions: inflamed or damaged skin. Avoid gettin selenium sulfide at your eyes. If drug gets into your eyes accidentally, rinse them with clear water for several minutes. do not use it medication on children younger than two years about age with out doctor's permission. Selenium sulfide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. it is not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Though there have been no reports (to date) about harm to nursing infants, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Selsun RX pill interactions: If you use other topical products (prescription or nonprescription), consult your physician before using selenium sulfide. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Selsun RX Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Selsun RX special notes: Remove jewelry before using this drug to avoid damage.

If you missed Selsun RX dose: Apply any missed dose as soon as possible but not if it is almost clock for the next dose. If It's time for next dose, skip missed dose & resume your regular schedule. don't double dose to catch up.

Selsun RX Storage: Store at room temperature & in tight container. do not freeze.
