Thermazene Usage: this medication is used to prevent & treat skin infections associated with burns.

How to use Thermazene: this drug is for topical use only. Clean & dry affected area before applying medication. Using sterile glove, apply a thin clip (1/16 inch) of the medication to the affected region and surrounding skin once or 2 times daily. Continue to use the tablet as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Keep affected area covered with medication at all times. don't cover with bandages unless instructed to do so by some your doctor.

Thermazene side effects: it medication may cause burning, stinging or redness when first applied to the skin. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this pill, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Thermazene Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist your medical history, especially: liver or kidney disease, blood disorders, any allergies. do not apply this drug to infants less than two months of age. Before you use silver sulfadiazine, tell your pharmacist if you pregnant. this tablet should not be used near or at term. Its not known if this tablet is excreted into breast milk. However, similar, systemically absorbed forms of this drug are excreted into breast milk & have been shown to have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Consult your pharmacist before breast- feeding.

Thermazene drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription medications you may use, especially about another skin products.

Thermazene Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Thermazene special notes: do not allow anyone else to use this med.

If you missed Thermazene dose: Apply any missed dose as soon as possible but not if this is almost time for following dose. If it is time since next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your regular schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Thermazene Storage: Store at room temperature & in a tight container. do not freeze.
