    Corticosteroids - topical

    Simular Drugs : Lidex, Lidex E

    Lidex Usage: it tablet is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching about skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.

    How to use Lidex: Clean and dry the affected area before applying medication. To apply, gently massage little of medication into affected area and surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you are instructed to do so by youre doctor. don't use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on child being treated with this tablet in the diaper area. Avoid using this medication around the eyes unless directed to do so by you're doctor.

    Lidex side effects: this medication may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when first applied to the skin. this should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to medication. it drug may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform youre doctor. Skin infections can become worse when using this tablet. Notify youre pharmacist if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Lidex Precautions: do not use this drug near eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate and augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isn't recommended. do not use if there is an infection or sores present on area to be treated. Though very unlikely, this is possible this drug will be absorbed into your bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true since children and since those who have used it since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use about this drug. Consult youre doctor or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy & only if clearly needed. Discuss the benefits and risks with your pharmacist. Small amounts about this med may appear at breast milk. Consult with your physician before breast-feeding.

    Lidex drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every medications you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), another skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Lidex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Lidex special notes: Inform all youre healthcare professionals you use (or have used) it medication. do not share this drug with others.

    If you missed Lidex dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use if this is almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Lidex Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.

    Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
