    Sulfamylon Usage: this pill is used to prevent bacterial infections in burned skin.

    How to use Sulfamylon: Use with wound dressings, as directed. for use on skin only. Duration of treatment depends on your medical condition and response to therapy. Follow all instructions for proper preparation & use of this drug. Consult some your physician.

    Sulfamylon side effects: Pain or burning sensation may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor promptly. Unlikely but report promptly: changes at skin appearance (e.g., blisters or redness). Very unlikely but report promptly: quick breathing, weakness, dark urine, yellowing skin or eyes. at unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to it tablet, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Sulfamylon Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, including: any allergies (especially to 'sulfa' drugs), lung disease or breathing trouble, kidney disease, metabolism problems (e.g., glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency). Use of this drug for prolonged or repeated periods may result at secondary infection of the skin (e.g., bacterial or yeast infection). it med must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. It's not known whether this tablet is excreted in to breast milk. Because of potential risk to the infant, breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Sulfamylon drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional about all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.

    Sulfamylon Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Sulfamylon special notes: do not share this tablet with others. Laboratory and/or medical tests may be performed to monitor for side effects & response to therapy.

    If you missed Sulfamylon dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time about the following dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Sulfamylon Storage: Store unmixed packets at room temperature between 77 & 86 degrees F (25 and 30 degrees C). once mixed, the solution may be stored in an unopened container between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) for 28 days after mixing. once the container has been opened for use, solution is only great for 48 hours. Discard any unused portion.
