Ultra Antacid Usage: this drug is an antacid used to relieve upset stomach, heartburn or gas caused by stomach acid.
How to use Ultra Antacid: Take it by mouth as directed. Chew thoroughly & swallow. don't swallow tablets whole. Follow each dose with full glass about water. do not increase the dose or take this more many times than prescribed. If you feel your dose is not effective, consult your pharmacist.
Ultra Antacid side effects: it medication is generally well tolerated. Constipation or stomach cramps may occur. Notify your physician if they continue or become severe. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: loss about appetite, vomiting, dizziness, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.
Ultra Antacid Precautions: Before taking this, tell some your healthcare professional if you have: kidney disease, any allergies. Avoid taking more doses than recommended. it med is considered safe for use during pregnancy or breast-feeding when used as directed.
Ultra Antacid drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any nonprescription or prescription drug you may take including: certain antibiotics (e.g., tetracyclines, quinolones), demeclocycline, methacycline, verapamil (a calcium channel blocker), quinidine, sodium polystyrene sulfonate, iron-containing products. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Ultra Antacid Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, loss about appetite, tiredness, & weakness.
Ultra Antacid special notes: their are various forms of this medication available. the chewable meds offer convenience but the liquid form is faster acting. talk to your health care provider or pharmacist about the best product for you. If your condition does not improve or worsens, contact your doctor or doctor. If you're stools become dark in color or you vomit what looks like coffee grounds, contact your doctor as these may be signs of stomach bleeding
If you missed Ultra Antacid dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered don't take it if it is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Ultra Antacid Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. do not store in the bathroom.
