Pancof Exp Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. the low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. it combination medication is used to treat cough & relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Pancof Exp: this medication is best taken with, or after, meal or snack. Take this drug as prescribed. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed.

Pancof Exp side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur first some days as your body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit you're intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, hypertension, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Pancof Exp Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history of med dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this medication causes you to feel drowsy. check it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. this product must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with you're pharmacist. at least one of ingredients in this combination product is known to be excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Pancof Exp medication interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure medications, antidepressants, MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid, furazolidone, phenelzine, tranylcypromine), cimetidine. do not start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

Pancof Exp Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.

Pancof Exp special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this drug. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Pancof Exp dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Pancof Exp Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in the bathroom.
