Bumetanide Usage: Bumetanide is a 'water pill' (diuretic). this decreases the amount of water retained in body by increasing urination. It's used to treat fluid retention in the lungs or swelling of hands or feet (edema) or high blood pressure (hypertension).
How to use Bumetanide: Take with food or milk to reduce stomach upset. If this drug is used in late afternoon or evening, you may need to urinate during night. Consult your healthcare professional regarding your dosing schedule.
Bumetanide side effects: Headache & nausea infrequently might occur. If these persist or worsen, notify youre healthcare professional. Unlikely but report promptly: muscle cramps or weakness, dizziness, one-sided weakness (arms & legs), unusual fatigue, unusual thirst. Bumetanide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dry mouth, dizziness, excessive urination followed by a decrease in amount of urine, muscle cramps, weakness, & weak or irregular heartbeat.

If you missed Bumetanide dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Bumetanide Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 - 86 degrees F (15 - 30 degrees C) away from moisture and light. do not store in the bathroom.
