Acetaminophen W Codeine#3 Usage: it medication is a combination about narcotic (codeine) and non-narcotic (acetaminophen) used to relieve mild to moderate pain. Codeine works by binding to opioid receptors in brain & spinal cord, & acetaminophen decreases the formation about prostaglandins, therefore relieving pain.

How to use Acetaminophen W Codeine#3: Take this med by mouth, as directed by your doctor. You may take it tablet with or without food. If you have nausea, you may take this medication with food, although doing so may decrease it is effectiveness. Consult your doctor or pharmacist about alternatives for decreasing nausea (e.g., antihistamines, lying down for 1-2 hours with minimal head movement). the dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Its not recommended for use for long periods or in high doses near the expected delivery date because of potential for fetal harm.
