    Warning: this is powerful fluid-reducing medication. Using too many of it drug can lead to serious water & mineral loss. Therefore, It's important you be monitored by youre healthcare professional. Promptly notify some your pharmacist if you become very thirsty, have dry mouth, or become confused while using it medication.

    Demadex Usage: this drug is a diuretic. Diuretics decrease the amount of water retained at body by increasing urination. this drug is used to treat edema (fluid retention of lungs or swelling of hands or feet) and HBP.

    How to use Demadex: it drug is given by injection into vein (IV). Inspect ampule before using. If It's discolored or has particles, discard ampule & use another. If this medication is used in late afternoon or evening, you may need to urinate during night. Consult youre pharmacist regarding youre dosing schedule.

    Demadex side effects: it drug can cause dizziness and lightheadedness especially during the 1st some days as your body adjusts to it. Rise slowly from a seated or lying position. Blurred vision, loss of appetite, itching, stomach upset, headache and weakness may also occur during initial therapy as your body adjusts to medication. Inform your physician if you develop: muscle cramps, pain, nausea, vomiting, hearing difficulty. this drug increases urination. Expect it effect. at unlikely part you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.

    Demadex Precautions: Before using it drug, tell some your physician you're medical history especially about: kidney problems, unusual decrease in urine output, liver disease, any drug allergies. this drug can reduce the potassium levels in your blood. a potassium supplement may be prescribed by your healthcare professional. Tell you're physician if you are pregnant before using this medication. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Demadex drug interactions: Tell your physician of every prescription & nonprescription medicines you use especially of: lithium, digoxin, aminoglycoside antibiotics (e.g., gentamicin, tobramycin), NSAIDs (e.g., indomethacin, naproxen), aspirin, probenecid, ginseng, any other HBP medicine. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    Demadex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include dry mouth, dizziness, excessive urination followed by a decrease in amount of urine, muscle cramps, weakness, & weak or irregular heartbeat.

    Demadex special notes: Lab/blood tests may be done periodically to monitor you're progress.

    If you missed Demadex dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as remembered; do not use it if Its almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Demadex Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 - 86 degrees F (15 - 30 C) away from moisture & light. don't freeze. don't store in the bathroom.

    Medical alert: you're condition can cause complications in medical emergency.
