    Depo Provera Usage: this medication prevents ovulation resulting in contraceptive effect. this is used to prevent pregnancy in women.

    How to use Depo Provera: this medication is given by injection in to muscle usually 1 time every 3 months.

    Depo Provera side effects: this medication causes irregular menstrual bleeding patterns but with continued use may result in an absence of menstrual bleeding. Headache, stomach cramps, dizziness, nausea, depression, breast tenderness, fluid retention, bloating, hot flashes, acne, change in appetite, sweating, weight gain, change in sexual desire or pain and irritation at injection site may occur. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: a sudden severe headache, vomiting, fainting, pain in the calf associated with warmth/red- ness/swelling, breathing trouble, chest pain, vision changes, numbness in arms or legs. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or doctor.

    Depo Provera Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: liver disease, diabetes, seizure disorders, kidney disease, heart trouble, eye problems, asthma, history about depression, migraines, blood clots, miscarriage, breast cancer, any allergies. it medication must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediately. it medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Depo Provera drug interactions: it medication can alter effects of other medications. Tell youre pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. it med can alter results of certain laboratory tests. Remind you're physician you taking this med if you scheduled for any lab tests. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.

    Depo Provera Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Depo Provera special notes: a physical exam including a breast exam, pelvic exam & pap smear will be done prior to starting this medication.

    If you missed Depo Provera dose: It's important to take each dose as scheduled. If you miss dose, contact your physician to establish a new dosing schedule.

    Depo Provera Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at the bathroom.
