Cleocin HCL Usage: An antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.

How to use Cleocin HCL: Clindamycin should be taken with food & a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless you're pharmacist directs you otherwise. do not lie down for 30 minutes after taking it. the oral solution of it product must be shaken well before using. Solution retains potency for 14 days at room temperature. Antibiotics work best when amount about medicine in your body is kept in a constant level. Do this by taking drug at evenly spaced intervals throughout day & night. Continue to take this medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse of infection.

Cleocin HCL side effects: this medication can cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, cramps, bloating & weight loss which should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to medication. If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform your pharmacist. If diarrhea becomes problem, do not take any anti-diarrhea meds. Contact youre physician. Notify your pharmacist if following effects occur: rash, hives, fever. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this medication, seek healthcare professional attention immediately. If you missed Cleocin HCL dose: If you should miss dose, take it as soon as remembered unless this is almost clock for following dose. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose.
