    Robinul Usage: this medication slows the activity of stomach and intestines and reduces acid secretion. it is used with anesthesia medications before surgery & in treatment of peptic ulcers. this drug is also used to decrease secretions (e.g., saliva or phlegm) in mouth and throat.

    How to use Robinul: it medication is given by injection, as directed by you're pharmacist. Use it med exactly as prescribed. do not increase the dose or use it more frequently without consulting youre physician. Before using, money it product visually since particles or discoloration. If ether is present, do not use the liquid. Consult with the pharmacist before mixing this drug with other medications at the same syringe.

    Robinul side effects: Flushing of the face, problems sleeping, headache, blurred vision, dizziness, drowsiness, increased sensitivity to light, constipation, dry mouth, decreased sweating, thirst or pain/redness/swelling at the injection site may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify youre doctor or physician promptly. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: confusion, nervousness, fast/irregular heartbeat, difficulty urinating. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: weakness, sexual function problems (e.g., impotence). An allergic reaction to this drug is unlikely, but seek immeditial medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Robinul Precautions: this drug should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or doctor if you have: glaucoma, asthma, enlarged prostate, rapid heart rate due to heart failure or overactive thyroid, stomach/intestine problems (e.g., obstruction, ulcerative colitis, toxic megacolon), an ileostomy or colostomy, active severe bleeding, myasthenia gravis. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist youre medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, disorders about esophagus (e.g., reflux, hiatal hernia), heart problems (e.g., coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension), an overactive thyroid, nervous system disorders (e.g., autonomic neuropathy), any allergies. this pill may make you dizzy or drowsy or cause blurred vision; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Caution is advised when using this drug in elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects of the medication. Caution is advised when using it medication in children because they may be more sensitive to side effects of the drug. a preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in the liquid used to mix it product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during 1st months about life (neonatal period). the risk is greater with lower birth weight infants and is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, low blood pressure, or a very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to the doctor immediately should they occur. If possible, preservative-free product should be used when treating neonates. this drug can reduce sweating which can lead to heat stroke in hot weather. Use caution engaging in strenuous activity in hot weather. Contact lens wearers may need to use appropriate lubricating solutions if this pill causes dry eyes. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Its not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Robinul drug interactions: Before using this drug, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription & nonprescription goods you may use, especially of: amantadine, quinidine, disopyramide, procainamide, digoxin, ketoconazole, corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), potassium supplements (specifically wax-matrix preparations), phenothiazines (e.g., chlorpromazine, promethazine), drugs for Parkinson's disease, tricyclic anti-depressants (e.g., amitriptyline), allergy meds (e.g., diphenhydramine). don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Robinul Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: restlessness, seizures, mental/mood changes, hallucinations, rapid heartbeat, or muscle weakness.

    Robinul special notes: do not share this med with others.

    If you missed Robinul dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the clock of next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

    Robinul Storage: Store at room temperature between 68 & 77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C) away from light and moisture. do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children & pets.
