Vytone Usage: this medication is used to treat skin infections, various skin problems (e.g., dermatitis, eczema) or outer ear conditions.
How to use Vytone: Apply a thin layer of drug to affected area of skin as directed, generally three to four times daily. Keep the medication away from the eyes. do not bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you instructed to do so by your pharmacist. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this medication in diaper area. Continue to use this medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after several days. Stopping medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse of infection.
Vytone side effects: this med is generally very well tolerated. Burning, minor skin irritation, itching, dryness, acne-like areas, change at skin pigmentation or skin thinning infrequently occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your physician. this product may stain skin or fabric. Unlikely but report promptly: severe skin irritation. Very unlikely but report: vision problems, headache, unusual increase in thirst or urination, unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Vytone Precautions: Before using it tablet, tell your physician your medical history, including: allergies (especially medication allergies). Use about this medication for prolonged periods may result in infection with resistant bacteria. Though very unlikely, this is possible this medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this medication. Consult some your healthcare professional or healthcare professional for more details. this drug must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. it is not known if it drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.
Vytone drug interactions: Tell your doctor of every nonprescription and prescription drug you may use. Iodoquinol may interfere with thyroid & phenylketonuria (PKU) tests. Consult your pharmacist if these tests to be done. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Vytone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Vytone special notes: this medication has been prescribed for your current condition only. don't use it later for another infection or give it to others. different medication may be needed in those cases. Inform all some your doctors you use (or have used) this med.
If you missed Vytone dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near time about the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Vytone Storage: Store at room temperature away from light & moisture.
