Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol Usage: this drug is used to treat skin infections, various skin problems (e.g., dermatitis, eczema) or outer ear conditions.

How to use Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol: Apply a thin layer of medication to affected area of skin as directed, generally three to four times daily. Keep the medication away from the eyes. do not bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you are instructed to do so by your pharmacist. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with it drug in the diaper region. Continue to use it medication until full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping the tablet too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse of infection.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol side effects: this drug is generally very well tolerated. Burning, minor skin irritation, itching, dryness, acne-like areas, change in skin pigmentation or skin thinning infrequently occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist. this product may stain skin or fabric. Unlikely but report promptly: severe skin irritation. Very unlikely but report: vision problems, headache, unusual increase at thirst or urination, unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol Precautions: Before using this drug, tell your doctor your medical history, including: allergies (especially tablet allergies). Use of this medication since prolonged periods may result in infection with resistant bacteria. Though very unlikely, it is possible it medication will be absorbed in to you're bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for child & for those who have used this since an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this med. Consult your physician or pharmacist for more details. this tablet should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. this isn't known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol drug interactions: Tell you're pharmacist of all nonprescription & prescription medication you may use. Iodoquinol may interfere with thyroid & phenylketonuria (PKU) tests. Consult your physician if these tests to be done. don't start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol special notes: this medication has been prescribed since your current condition only. do not use it later for another infection or give it to others. different medication may be needed in those cases. Inform all your doctors you use (or have used) it medication.

If you missed Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol dose: If you miss a dose, use this as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of following dose, skip missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
