Hydrocortisoneacetate Usage: it drug is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of conditions such as hemorrhoids.

How to use Hydrocortisoneacetate: To apply cream or ointment, wash & dry rectal region 1'st. then gently massage a small amount about the medication into the affected region. do not use in larger amounts, more often, or longer then directed.

Hydrocortisoneacetate side effects: this medication may cause burning, stinging, itching or redness when 1-st applied. it should disappear in a several days as youre body adjusts to med. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify youre pharmacist if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Notify physician of: rectal bleeding or pain. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness, vision changes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or physician.

Hydrocortisoneacetate Precautions: Tell you're physician you're medical history, especially of: eye problems, sores or infection of area being treated, any allergies. Though very unlikely, It's possible this medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more details. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. it isn't known if this drug is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Hydrocortisoneacetate drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Hydrocortisoneacetate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Hydrocortisoneacetate special notes: Inform all your pharmacists you use, or have used, it medication.

If you missed Hydrocortisoneacetate dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not apply if it is almost clock for next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Hydrocortisoneacetate Storage: Store in room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. do not store at bathroom.
