Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol Usage: this pill is used to treat skin infections, various skin problems (e.g., dermatitis, eczema) or outer ear conditions.

How to use Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol: Apply thin layer of medication to affected area of skin as directed, generally three to four times daily. Keep medication away from eyes. do not bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you instructed to do so by you're physician. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on kid being treated with this drug in diaper area. Continue to use this drug until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after several days. Stopping drug too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of the infection.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol side effects: this med is generally very well tolerated. Burning, minor skin irritation, itching, dryness, acne-like areas, change at skin pigmentation or skin thinning infrequently occur. If these persist or worsen, notify your doctor. this product may stain skin or fabric. Unlikely but report promptly: severe skin irritation. Very unlikely but report: vision problems, headache, unusual increase in thirst or urination, unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol Precautions: Before using this med, tell your healthcare professional your medical history, including: allergies (especially medication allergies). Use of this tablet since prolonged periods may result in infection with resistant bacteria. Though very unlikely, It's possible it tablet will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. it is especially true for kid and for those who have used it for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your physician or doctor for more details. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist. this isnot known if this med is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your physician before breast-feeding.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of every nonprescription and prescription medication you may use. Iodoquinol may interfere with thyroid & phenylketonuria (PKU) tests. Consult your doctor if these tests are to be done. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol special notes: this medication has been prescribed for you're current condition only. do not use it later since other infection or give it to others. a different tablet may be needed in those cases. Inform every your healthcare professionals you use (or have used) this drug.

If you missed Hydrocortisone Iodoquinol dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near the time about the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
