Hydrocortisone Acetate Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching about conditions such as hemorrhoids.
How to use Hydrocortisone Acetate: To apply cream or ointment, wash & dry the rectal region first. then gently massage little about med in to affected area. do not use in larger amounts, more often, or longer than directed.
Hydrocortisone Acetate side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging, itching or redness when first applied. this should disappear in few days as some your body adjusts to tablet. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. Notify your healthcare professional if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Notify doctor of: rectal bleeding or pain. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness, vision changes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or pharmacist.
Hydrocortisone Acetate Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially of: eye problems, sores or infection of the area being treated, any allergies. Though very unlikely, it is possible this tablet will be absorbed in to your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for children and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of this medication. Consult your healthcare professional or pharmacist for more details. this tablet should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your physician. it is not known if it med is excreted into breast milk. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding.
Hydrocortisone Acetate drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Hydrocortisone Acetate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

If you missed Hydrocortisone Acetate dose: If you miss dose, apply this as soon as remembered; do not apply if It's almost time for following dose. Instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Hydrocortisone Acetate Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
