    Zofran Usage: this tablet is used to prevent nausea & vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy or after surgery. it works by blocking the hormone (serotonin) that causes vomiting.

    Zofran can be used also for: this tablet may also be used to treat alcoholism.

    How to use Zofran: this drug may be taken with or without food. it may also be taken with antacids. first dose is usually taken 30 minutes before chemotherapy. Take further doses as directed, usually for 1-2 days after completion of chemotherapy. another medical conditions & procedures require different dosing schedules. Follow you're doctor's orders carefully.

    Zofran side effects: Diarrhea or constipation, headache, lightheadedness or drowsiness (uncommon), as well as blurred vision may occur. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist promptly. Very unlikely but report promptly: chest pain. at unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to it pill, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.

    Zofran Precautions: Tell youre doctor youre medical history, especially of: stomach/intestinal problems (e.g., distension), liver disease, any allergies. Limit alcohol intake, as it may intensify medication side effects. Caution performing tasks requiring alertness (e.g., driving) until you know how this tablet affects you. Tell your healthcare professional if you are pregnant before using it medication. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Zofran med interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription medicines you may use. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.

    Zofran Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include change in vision, severe constipation, severe dizziness, or irregular heartbeat.

    Zofran special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Zofran dose: Try to take each dose at scheduled clock. If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Zofran Storage: tablets may be stored in or out of refrigerator between 36 & 86 degrees F (2 and 30 degrees C). Store liquid form between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C).

    Medical alert: your condition can cause complications in a medical emergency.
