Procto Pak Usage: this medication is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching about conditions such as hemorrhoids.
How to use Procto Pak: To apply cream or ointment, wash and dry the rectal area first. then gently massage little of the medication into the affected area. do not use in larger amounts, more many times, or longer than directed.
Procto Pak side effects: this medication can cause burning, stinging, itching or redness when first applied. this should disappear in few days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify you're physician if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Notify physician of: rectal bleeding or pain. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly the following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness, vision changes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.
Procto Pak Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, especially of: eye problems, sores or infection of area being treated, any allergies. Though very unlikely, it is possible this medication will be absorbed into your bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for child and for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. it precaution applies since up to one year after stopping use of this drug. Consult your doctor or physician for more details. it medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're doctor. Its not known if this drug is excreted in to breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Procto Pak medication interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Procto Pak Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Procto Pak special notes: Inform all youre doctors you use, or have used, this med.
If you missed Procto Pak dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not apply if it is almost time for next dose. Instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Procto Pak Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
