Pro Banthine Usage: Propantheline is used, in combination with other medicine, to treat peptic ulcers. do not take propantheline for stomach ache due to gas or for any problem other than the one for which it was specifically prescribed.

Pro Banthine canbe used also for: this pill may also be used for another digestive tract problems (irritable bowel syndrome) & in cases where control over urine flow is desired (for urinary incontinence).

How to use Pro Banthine: Take this medication 30 minutes before meals. Take it drug as prescribed. do not increase dose or take it more frequently without consulting your doctor. Drink plenty of fluids while taking it tablet unless your doctor directs you otherwise.

Pro Banthine side effects: it medication can cause stomach ache, flushing, problems sleeping, headache, blurred vision, constipation, dry mouth, reduced sweating, drowsiness or thirst. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: confusion, tremors, rapid or irregular heartbeat, difficulty urinating. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this medication, seek immeditial medical attention. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or physician.

Pro Banthine Precautions: Tell some your doctor some your medical history, especially: glaucoma, enlarged prostate gland, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid gland, liver disease, heart or blood vessel disease, kidney disease, myasthenia gravis (a muscle problem), difficulty urinating, contact lens usage, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema or other lung disease, any allergies. Because this pill may cause drowsiness, use caution when driving or performing tasks requiring alertness. this drug reduces sweating which can lead to heatstroke in hot weather. Use caution when engaging at strenuous activity in hot weather. Contact lens wearers may need to use eye lubricants if this tablet causes drying of eyes. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to effects of propantheline. Use cautiously. Propantheline should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with some your doctor. Its not known if it drug is excreted in to breast milk. Consult you're doctor before breast-feeding.

Pro Banthine med interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: amantadine, antihistamines, digoxin, disopyramide, glutethimide, levodopa, meperidine, extended-release potassium chloride meds, quinidine, tranquilizers, phenothiazines (e.g., chlorpromazine, promethazine), medication for depression, medicine for Parkinson's disease. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Pro Banthine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include unusually dry mouth; excessive thirst; nausea; vomiting; difficulty breathing; blurred vision; dilated pupils; flushed, hot, dry skin; muscle weakness; unusual dizziness or drowsiness; restlessness; disorientation; & seizures.

Pro Banthine special notes: don't share this tablet with others.

If you missed Pro Banthine dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't double the dose to catch up.

Pro Banthine Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
