    Methazolamide Usage: this medication reduces rate about fluid formation in the inner eye resulting in reduced intraocular pressure. It's used in the treatment about glaucoma.

    How to use Methazolamide: Take it pill with food if stomach upset occurs. Take it pill exactly as prescribed. don't take this more frequently or stop taking this tablet without consulting your doctor. While taking it medication, your pharmacist may periodically test the intraocular pressure of your eye to evaluate effectiveness of this pill.

    Methazolamide side effects: Nausea, loss of appetite, constipation, frequent urination, drowsiness, weakness or headache may occur 1st several days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify youre doctor if you develop: fever, sore throat, unusual bleeding or bruising, skin rash, painful urination, tingling or tremors about hands or feet. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    Methazolamide Precautions: Be sure your pharmacist knows your medical history, especially of: diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, lung diseases, allergies (especially to sulfa drugs). this drug may cause drowsiness. Use caution when driving or operating dangerous machinery if it effect occurs. women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should inform their doctors.

    Methazolamide drug interactions: Before you take this drug, tell your physician what other meds you are taking (including nonprescription drugs), especially: lithium, digoxin, aspirin, phenobarbital, diuretics ('water pills'), amphetamines, antidepressants, medication for irregular heartbeats, methenamine. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Methazolamide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

    Methazolamide special notes: don't change brands about it drug without consulting your physician or healthcare professional. Not every brands of this medication are equally effective. do not allow anyone else to take this medication.

    If you missed Methazolamide dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Methazolamide Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight & moisture.
