    Timolol Maleate Usage: it medication is used to reduce pressure in the eye caused by glaucoma or other eye conditions.

    How to use Timolol Maleate: To instill eye drops, wash hands 1st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or let it touch your eye. Tilt some your head back, gaze upward and pull down the lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close some your eye since 1 to 2 minutes. Try not to blink and don't rub the eye. do not rinse dropper. for maximum effect, this medication must be used routinely as prescribed.

    Timolol Maleate side effects: it tablet may temporarily sting you're eyes for minute or two when you first use it. If stinging persists or becomes bothersome, inform some your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying drops. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify youre pharmacist if you experience any of these rarely occurring side effects: dizziness, drowsiness, depression, irregular or slow heartbeat. in unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, breathing trouble. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.

    Timolol Maleate Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially of: diabetes, thyroid disorders, muscle weakness disorders, breathing problems, heart problems, any allergies. If you are scheduled since surgery that requires anesthesia, tell the healthcare professional treating you that you use this drug. If you have eye surgery, injury or infection consult your eye pharmacist about continued use of this current eye drop bottle. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. this medication may be excreted into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on nursing infant. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Timolol Maleate medication interactions: Tell your doctor about all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: other drugs used for glaucoma, theophylline, drugs used since HBP, heart medications, diabetes drugs, drugs used for colds or nasal congestion. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Timolol Maleate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, slow heart rate, or breathing difficulties.

    Timolol Maleate special notes: Discard solution if this turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.

    If you missed Timolol Maleate dose: If you should miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. However, if It's almost time for following dose, skip missed dose & resume regular dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Timolol Maleate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
