Ocupress Usage: this med is used to treat glaucoma & to reduce pressure in eye.
How to use Ocupress: Use this medication as directed. Try to use this at the same time each day to get into routine of taking it. do not stop using this drug without 1st consulting your pharmacist. Apply eye drops to the affected eyes as follows: Wash hands 1-st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the dropper or let this touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye & administer prescribed number of drops. see downward and gently close your eye for 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner about the eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent medication from draining away from the eye. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. Do no rinse dropper. If you are using another kind of eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying another medications.
Ocupress side effects: this medication may temporarily sting or burn you're eyes for a minute or two when applied. other side effects reported include brow ache, tearing & sensitivity to light. If any about these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for period after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your doctor if you develop a skin rash, eye pain, swelling in or around eyes, vision problems, breathing trouble, slow or irregular heartbeat, headache, dizziness or depression while using this drug. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Ocupress Precautions: Tell youre physician if you have asthma, heart disease, lung disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, muscle disease or any allergies. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional.
Ocupress drug interactions: Tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including heart medication, blood pressure medication, quinidine or verapamil. If you are scheduled for any surgery, be sure your doctor knows you are taking this drug. this may be necessary to stop using this for a short clock. don't start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Ocupress Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Ocupress special notes: your intraocular (eye) pressure will be monitored to cash effectiveness of this tablet.
If you missed Ocupress dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use it if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Ocupress Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Discard this if solution turns brown, cloudy or contains particles.
