Epipen JR Usage: Epinephrine acts quickly to improve breathing, stimulate heart and reverse hives & swelling around the face & lips. this drug is used in emergencies to treat potentially dangerous allergic reactions to insect stings or bites, foods, drugs or other substances.

How to use Epipen JR: it medication is given by injection. It's designed to be self-administered. To use, remove safety cap. Hold device with the black tip against thigh & apply moderate pressure for some seconds. this will release spring activated plunger which pushes concealed needle at to outer part thigh to deliver the medication. Discard unit properly. effects of it pill must be felt within seconds. Administer through the clothing if necessary. Seek further medical help immediately. Try to keep warm & avoid exertion. Tell the health care professional you have given yourself an injection about epinephrine. Administer to the thigh area only. Avoid use near a vein or the buttocks.

Epipen JR side effects: You may feel slight nervousness & an increased heart rate soon after the injection. pounding heartbeat, sweating, nausea, vomiting, breathing trouble, headache, dizziness & anxiety may also occur. the effects of this medication begin to wear off after 10 to 20 minutes. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or pharmacist.

Epipen JR Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: heart conditions, thyroid disease, diabetes, allergies (especially drug allergies). this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or if breast-feeding. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist.

Epipen JR drug interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: antidepressants. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or physician approval.

Epipen JR Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include fast or irregular heartbeat.

Epipen JR special notes: Patients with severe allergies must be clearly instructed how & when to use this drug. Review indications and administration procedures carefully with your pharmacist. Also teach family member & close friend what to do in part of an emergency.

If you missed Epipen JR dose: Not applicable.

Epipen JR Storage: Store this tablet at room temperature away from heat & sunlight. don't refrigerate. Avoid storing it in glove compartment or trunk of your car in summer. If solution is not clear or turns brown, replace unit. check the expiration date periodically and replace unit before it expires.
