Pergonal Usage: this med is type of hormone used to cause ovulation in women & stimulate sperm production in men. Its used in the treatment of infertility.
How to use Pergonal: this med is given by injection into muscle b health care professional. in women it is usually given for 9 to 12 days. in men, this drug may be given 3 times a week for 4 to 6 months as needed. Follow the dosing schedule closely & keep every doctor's appointments so therapy can be monitored closely. During therapy, your physician may want to see you every other day.
Pergonal side effects: in women, this medication can cause fever, breathing trouble, bloating, stomach pain, enlarged ovaries or skin rash. Men may experience breast enlargement. Report any side effects to your physician. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Pergonal Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: thyroid problems, drug allergies. Use of this med may result in multiple births (e.g., twins, triplets). it medication must not be used during pregnancy.
