Pregnyl Usage: this medication is hormone which stimulates ovaries and testes. Its used at males to stimulate testicular descent or testicular growth and development. in females, this medication is used in combination with other medication to induce ovulation.
How to use Pregnyl: this medication is given by injection into a muscle by health care professional. Females may require only one dose. Males may receive a episode of injections 2 to 3 times week. Make sure you understand what your dosing schedule is. Keep all doctor's appointments so therapy can be monitored closely.
Pregnyl side effects: Headache, stomach pain, irritability, restlessness, mood changes, fatigue, acne or swelling of breast in males may occur. You may also experience pain or irritation at the injection site. If these symptoms continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your physician if you experience: swelling of the ankles or feet, leg pain, chest pain, breathing difficulty. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or physician.
Pregnyl Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: heart disease, kidney disease, asthma, migraine headaches, seizure disorder, cancer, any allergies. a preservative (benzyl alcohol) which may be found in this product or in liquid used to mix this product (diluent) can infrequently cause serious problems (sometimes death) if given by injection to an infant during first months about life (neonatal period). the risk is greater with lower birth weight infants & is greater with increased amounts of benzyl alcohol. Symptoms include sudden gasping, low blood pressure, or very slow heartbeat. Report these symptoms to the physician immediately should they occur. If possible, preservative-free product should be used when treating neonates. this drug must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform youre doctor immediately. it isn't known if this pill passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. Use of this drug may result in multiple births (e.g., twins, triplets).

Pregnyl Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

If you missed Pregnyl dose: it is important to take each dose in the scheduled time. If you miss dose, contact you're healthcare professional who will help establish new dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
