Follistim Usage: this drug is hormone used to treat fertility problems at women. it is used in combination with another hormone (hCG) to stimulate ovaries.
How to use Follistim: Inject it medication under the skin (SQ) or into muscle (IM) usually once daily; or use as directed by your doctor. Dosage is based on youre medical condition & response to therapy. Learn all preparation & usage instructions in product package and, if you have any questions about any about information, ask your doctor or healthcare professional. Before using, check this product visually for particles or discoloration. If either is present, do not use the liquid. Learn how to store & discard needles & medical supplies safely. Consult your pharmacist.
Follistim side effects: Dizziness, fever, chills, nausea, headache, unusual tiredness, breast tenderness, dry skin, rash, or pain, swelling, or redness at injection site may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: muscle pain, joint pain, swelling or pain in legs or arms, bloating, stomach pain. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: unusually fast heartbeat, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or pharmacist.
Follistim Precautions: Tell youre doctor your medical history, especially of: abnormal vaginal bleeding, thyroid or adrenal gland problems, cancer, tumors, ovarian cysts or enlargement, another fertility problems, any allergies. Multiple births may occur as a result about it therapy. it medication must not be used during pregnancy. If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform you're physician immediately. It's not known whether it drug passes into breast milk. Because of the potential risk to infant, breast-feeding while using it medication isn't recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Follistim medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist about every prescription & nonprescription drug you may use, especially of: another hormone medications (e.g., estrogens, progesterones). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Follistim Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe stomach pain or swelling, nausea, vomiting, weight gain, severe headache, shortness of breath, & weakness.
Follistim special notes: do not share it medication with others. Laboratory tests and/or medical tests (e.g., ultrasound, hormone levels) will be performed to monitor some your progress.
If you missed Follistim dose: If you miss dose, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist to establish new dosing schedule.
Follistim Storage: Before mixing, powder may be stored refrigerated or at room temperature between 36 and 77 degrees F (2 to 25 degrees C) away from light & moisture. Use immediately after mixing. Discard any unused portion of the vial.
